Rest

“My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for our Agape Angels to know God’s presence over these summer months, and that they can trust that He will give them rest!

~ For staff and volunteers to also know God’s rest over the summer months.

~ For the new staff to know God’s wisdom, discernment and peace as they prepare for the new school year to begin.

~ For God to continue leading the people He desires to be a part of this ministry to us to fill the remaining staff and volunteer positions.

~ For financial support to continue to flow at this quieter time of the year, as we still have expenses to cover.


Praise Reports:
~ For the donations and support we continue to receive from our faithful supporters, as well as new supporters who have heard about this ministry.

~ For the joy of volunteers coming in over the summer to help with small, but vital projects, i.e. copying, cleaning, etc.

Ways to Help at this time:
~ Looking for the following for Fall 2011: Christian Counselor and Resident Assistant, as well as volunteers for classroom/field trip assistance.

~ Volunteer needed for art therapy.

~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.

~ Sponsor a girl here; we have several girls that come from single parent families that have no money.
~ Provide finances to expand our counseling program. Our goal for 2011 is to open a Christian Biblical-based counseling center that operates on a sliding fee so no one is turned away because of finances. We are looking at renting some space close by so we can have more offices and praying for the funding for the rent and to pay the counselor’s
