Summer update

As I reflect back on this past school year and the first year of the Teen Home being open, we have much to be thankful for:

Our Teen Home opened in November
We had 12 girls reside in the Home
We opened a second classroom
We had 15 girls attend the school
We saw many girls be set free from addiction
One girl was set free from severe depression and anxiety
One girl overcoming a major eating disorder
Girls learning to deal with anger more effectively a nd getting to the root of their anger
Families being reunited
all of our girls learning more about their God
Many girls learning who they are in Christ
Most importantly we had seven girls make a commitment to Christ and now they have an eternity with Him. (All the other girls came to us saved)

Even though it has been a rough year financially and we have not always been able to pay our staff or all of the bills, we have seen God's faithfulness. As we continue to trust and depend on Him, He continues to meet our basic needs. But most importantly, our emotional and spiritual needs.

Because of state laws, the school and home shut down in June and will be re-opening in August. Please pray; we currently have a waiting list of eight new girls who want to come to Agape in August. In order to take on more girls, we need more finances to cover another teacher for the second classroom and a second counselor. Please pray for us and share with others what God is doing here. We thank you for your generosity. Without your faithfulness, we could never have helped the 15 girls we did this year.
