Love Never Fails

“Love never fails.” I Corinthians 13:8

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for our Agape Angels to learn to show love even when it’s hard, and especially when someone doesn’t respond to it or never gives anything back.

~ For the requirements being met for an off-site student to achieve her dream of receiving a high school diploma.

~ For courage and strength to not fall for the devil’s lies. For all to cling to God’s Word and read the Bible each day.

~For wisdom.

~For eyes to ‘see’ the foolishness and not be drawn in to the ‘time-stealing drama’.

~For healthy bodies and recuperation of many staff and students.

~For test results and the patience to endure the wait.

~For a healthy pregnancy and delivery of baby Tost.

~ For a healthy pregnancy and delivery of a healthy niece for one of our students.

~ For healing for all staff who need it; and comfort and patience for those waiting out the process.


Praise Reports:

~ For successful completion of many PACEs this week.

~ For the beautiful weather and the ability to take our daily walk.

~ For the safety from the inclement weather conditions this past weekend.

~ For safety in travel from Silver Birch Ranch.

~ For the gift of working and using our God-given abilities to serve others.

~ For clarity in knowing the Truth.

~ For the peace that passes all understanding.

~ For the gift of language and the understanding of what it means to be a person of integrity.

~ Pray for the girls to know the joy of hope as they go through difficult times.

~ For all the girls and their sleep; give them rest and comfort.

~ For all the staff and the health issues that they be resolved and restored .

~ For the strengthening of all of our faith; for the assurance of Your promises and the peace that passes all understanding.

~ Help each of us to cling to You, Lord and know your love for each of us.

~ For all families and the restoration of relationships.

~ For Lydia’s pregnancy and the beauty of life.

~ For safe travel to and from Silver Birch Ranch this weekend, and that the girls are blessed by their experience.

~ For the joy of each day, and the hope of a better tomorrow.

~ For faithfulness and a witness to His Truth.

Search for and Seek Peace

“Let him turn away from wickedness and shun it, and let him do right. Let him search for peace and seek it eagerly.” 1 Peter 3:11

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for our girls to diligently and eagerly seek peace!

~ For all students to continue to be diligent with their schoolwork to the end of the school year.

~ For moods and emotions to be handled in love.

~ For wisdom and discernment for staff these last few weeks of school.

~ Pray, Pray, Pray . . . as these girls prepare to move on to deal with old and familiar situations in new ways, that the seeds that have been planted will be watered!

Praise Reports:
~ For volunteers who will take care of the gardening in front of the houseparent’s apartment.

~ For a wonderful week.

~ For patience with adults, and the gift of grace shared with teachers.

~ For progress in taking responsibility for personal choices, education, and emotions.

Peace

“Seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14

Prayer Requests
~ Pray that our girls come tounderstand the joy of peace in their lives and learn to avoid situations that steel their peace.

~ for the girls who are currently seeking to overcome certain obstacles in their healing process, that they will know God’s strength, and desire the joy that will come as a result of this process.

~ that the girls continue to work hard to finish the year strong, academically and spiritually.

~ for parents as they make decisions about summer school, that they will make the right choice for their daughters, and that the girls will see the benefit of attending.

~ that the girls can have peace about their summer break and where they will be living living, trusting God every step of the way.

~ for staffing needs to be met for next Fall.

~ That we continue to hear God’s desire for this ministry, and follow where He leads us.

~ For continued healing for all staff, volunteers, students and families, both spiritually and physically.


Praise Reports:
~ For the joy of participating in National Day of Prayer in Delavan today; our Almighty Fortress is our God!

~ For the donation of a supply of napkins, as well as silverware.

~ For the donation of a large supply of new bath and hand towels for the dorms.

~ For the joy of watching the girls respond to the positive reinforcement of doing what is good for them, as well as those they love so dearly.

~ For the good news one of our staff received from the doctor this week!
