Happy Valentine's Day !!

This is one of our favorite holidays, because it focuses on LOVE.

John 15:9-17

9"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.

What a perfect scripture verse for this holiday !!

The following link shows pictures from the school, as well as up-to-date photos of the renovation project. We desperately need funds and volunteer laborers !! If you would like to help, please call Tina at 262.275.6466. We were blessed to have a crew from the Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha. They did a tremendous amount of work on Saturday and are such a blessing, they are already asking when they can come back and work again !!

So gather your friends, business associates, and church members and see what the Lord would have you to do; whether by praying, giving, or laboring side by side in the renovation. We are so thankful to the Lord for you !!

February 8th update

Welcome - We are delighted to welcome Brittney and Abby to Agape School. We are enjoying getting to know both of our new students.

Prayer Requests from the students at Agape School: Please pray for Hailey's sister Chelsey; Sandy Heinitz’s Mom, Doris; Pam’s Mom, Joyce; and Amy, our intern with automobile challenges.

We celebrated Amanda's 16th birthday today !! Her parents joined us for pizza and cake. Many blessings to you, Amanda !!

We have an immediate prayer request from the Agape House Board of Directors. The Board currently consists of Pam Patterson, Gene Ingersoll, Sandy Heinitz, Liz Pieters, John Brosel, Dr. Daniel Hansen and Bill & Jennifer Myers. They are requesting intercession for the renovation phase. In order to complete the dorm rooms, we must install the heating system. It is not a job that is able to be completed by volunteers, but rather must be done professionally, for liability and insurance reasons. The cost is at $40,000. PLEASE PRAY that God would move upon the heart(s) of the individuals(s) that He would use to complete this project. The need is URGENT. We are believing God for the dorm rooms to be completed, so that we can move on to finish the houseparents living quarters,. and then finish the Phase III renovation and open the Teen Home in the fall. We are confident that this is God's work. Would you please join us in prayer, as we seek His face, His hand, and His heart in this matter? Thank you !

I've included some photos which capture some of the "essence" of our school. Photos are courtesy of Jenny Ray.
