Love Abounding
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.” ~ Philippians 1:9-11

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for the girls and their families to continue to study God’s word, to know that He will fill us with the fruit of righteousness!

~ For our Agape Angels as their families make decisions about whether or not they will return to Agape School this Fall, pray that the girls remember who they are in Christ, wherever they go.

~ For those who want to learn, in spite of the challenges they need to overcome – draw them close to you, Lord, and help them to focus.

~ For wisdom and discernment for staff and parents, as we interview prospective new students, that they clearly know Agape Home and School is the right choice for their daughter.

~ For our Agape Angels as they enjoy the Summer months, that they remember to turn to God each and every day for His wisdom and discernment, His comfort, His strength, and His love.

~ For those who are hurting and don't know where to turn, that God will lead them to Agape House if this is where He desires them to be.


Praise Reports:
~ For the blessings God continues to provide for us, every which way we turn, as He continues to answer our prayers and bring us the people we need for this ministry.

~ For people willing to donate their services when there is not enough money to pay all of the bills.

~ For people who want to learn God’s ways, contrary to what we have been taught in this world.

Ways to Help at this time:

~ Looking for the following for Fall 2011: Christian Counselor and Resident Assistant, as well as volunteers for classroom/field trip assistance.
~ Volunteer needed for art therapy.

~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.

~ Bible Study materials (contact Pam Patterson for details)
~ Sponsor a girl here; we have several girls that come from single parent families that have no money.
~ Provide finances to expand our counseling program. Our goal for 2011 is to open a Christian Biblical-based counseling center that operates on a sliding fee so no one is turned away because of finances. We are looking at renting some space close by so we can have more offices and praying for the funding for the rent and to pay the counselor’s
