Facing Trials - Perseverance

“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you face trials of any kind, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” James 1:2-3

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for our girls and their families, as they face many trials this summer, that they are able to persevere and know the joy of the Lord working in their lives!

~ For the girls and their families, as they continue to take part in counseling this summer, that they enjoy the benefit of working through difficult situations, with the hope of their families being reconciled.

~ For continued financial support throughout the Summer.


Praise Reports:
~ For the donation of paper goods from some of our supporters.

~ For our staff, including counselors, who are willing to work through the summer in preparation for the next school year.

~ For the joy of quiet moments/hours to accomplish much for the office staff.

Ways to Help at this time:

~ Looking for the following for Fall 2011: volunteer to teach Computer Class once a week, Christian Counselor and Resident Assistant, as well as volunteers for classroom/field trip assistance.
~ Volunteer needed for art therapy.

~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.

~ Sponsor a girl here; we have several girls that come from single parent families that have no money.
~ Provide finances to expand our counseling program. Our goal for 2011 is to open a Christian Biblical-based counseling center that operates on a sliding fee so no one is turned away because of finances. We are looking at renting some space close by so we can have more offices and praying for the funding for the rent and to pay the counselor’s
