Binding up the Brokenhearted

“. . . He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners . . .” Isaiah 61:1

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray that our children know that God has sent Jesus to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free.

~ Pray for healing for the staff and volunteers in need of it so they are ready to start school by September 1st.

~ Pray that God will bring the new girls to Agape School who are in need of this ministry.

~ Pray for safe travel throughout the summer time.

~ Pray for the completion of the renovation of the Sanctuary, and the necessary funding and workers.

~ Pray for our ‘Kitchen Shower’ to be a blessed gathering with time for fellowship and fun: Sunday, August 15th in the Sanctuary from 1 to 3 p.m. This will be a fun way to help stock the new kitchen; feel free to bring a friend! We are registered at Kohl’s under Agape (First Name) House (Last Name) or our Registry #: 1377729. If you are unable to attend the shower, feel free to drop off a gift at the Agape School office Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

~ Pray for successful planning of the Trifecta Challenge to be held on Monday, September 20th, as this is a major fundraiser for Agape House, Army of One and Atlas – all Christian ministries in Walworth County.

Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for the recent donations received that almost cover the cost of the kitchen cabinets that have been ordered!

~ Praise God for the donation of the hooks we were asking for to go over the doors in the dorm rooms to hold towels!

~ Praise God for Summer Break: a time to rest, or spend more time with God, or prepare meals for the freezer for Fall, or learn and grow, or spend more time with family and friends enjoying Summer!
