All Things God Works for Good

Summer Office Hours for Agape House (Office in the School):
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or by appointment

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Volunteers Needed: We are in need of a volunteer willing to teach music class once a week throughout the school year, as well as be involved in the various events the at which the girls sing.

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray that the girls know they can trust God to work all things for good.

~ Pray that all staffing/volunteer positions will be filled shortly for the Fall classes starting September 1st.

~ Pray for the girls’ abilities to make choices, and the freedom to see their lives blossom as they realize who they are in Christ

~ Pray that the girls who are searching for ways to fill their time this summer are led to spend time with Godly people who will continue to encourage them along the right path, whether it be somewhere that they work, volunteer or just hang out.

~ Please continue to pray for each of our Agape Angels by name, if you have been doing this, that they are led by the Spirit as they make choices for their lives.

~ Please continue to pray for the renovation of the kitchen to be completed so that it can be used this Fall.

~ Pray for our ‘Kitchen Shower’ to be a blessed gathering with time for fellowship and fun: Sunday, August 15th in the Sanctuary from 1 to 3 p.m. This will be a fun way to help stock the new kitchen! We are registered at Kohl’s under Agape (First Name) House (Last Name) or our Registry #: 1377729. If you are unable to attend the shower, feel free to drop off a gift at the Agape School office Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

~ Pray for successful planning of the Trifecta Challenge set up for Monday, September 20th, as this is a major fundraiser for Agape House, Army of One and Atlas – all Christian ministries in Walworth County.

Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for the work crew from Bethel Baptist Church in Janesville that was here a couple of days this week to assist with a variety of tasks. There were about 15 young people, as well as Pastor Nathan, who gave of their time to help clean out the storage shed; clean the gym and gym bathrooms, upstairs office space, dorm area, and school area; wash windows; clean out the van; and assist with a small mailing. They were a pleasant group who seemed willing to do whatever task we had – what a huge blessing!

~ Praise God for the loving ‘home’ environment Agape House provides from September through June; for the loving house parents and resident assistant; for healthy meals; for rules and accountability; for direction and guidance with Christ being the focus!

~ Praise God for a volunteer who donated MANY hours to make copies that needed to be done – what a blessing!
