Good and Perfect




Christmas Ideas for the Girls
If anyone is interested in donating Christmas gifts for the girls, gift cards for things they can go out and do would be fabulous! Suggestions: movie theatres, bowling alleys, shopping at Walmart or Target, roller skating, eating out, etc.

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for our Agape Angels to recognize all that God does provide for us, and that those things that are “good and perfect” come from Him.

~ for the girls as they spend time at home with families over this holiday weekend, that they know the blessing of God’s presence, and are able to recognize all that they are thankful for.


Praise Reports:

~ For the donation of milk, cereal, fruit, string cheese, juice and snacks; as well as office and school supplies, and Christmas decorations!

~ for a leaking water heater, that it is under warranty, and the blessing of JC donating his time to check into the problem, and then install the new unit.

~ for the blessing of sharing a Thanksgiving meal together with students, staff and volunteers yesterday at Agape School. Thank you, Amy, for making and donating the turkey!

Items Needed:
Electric stapler for each classroom.
Napkins
Chicken
Tubs of Margarine
String Cheese
Yogurt
Milk (1% please)
Cereal
Fresh Produce: Veggies and Fruits
Snacks, i.e., almonds, peanuts, dried fruit, granola bars, crackers

Wish List:
Keyboard, full-size, with weighted keys, in good condition
Mini Van (used and in good shape) - free or very good price
Gift cards for the girls to be able to go to Starbucks, bowling, a movie, or Subway


Ways to Help at this time:
~ Speech teacher to help one of our girls with IEP; about 40 minutes a week.

~ Tutors for afternoons and Friday morning.

~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.

~ Sponsor a girl here; we have several girls that come from single parent families that have no money.
~ Provide finances to expand our counseling program. Our goal for 2011 is to open a Christian Biblical-based counseling center that operates on a sliding fee so no one is turned away because of finances. We are looking at renting some space close by so we can have more offices and praying for the funding for the rent and to pay the counselor’s
Bring in your Campbell’s labels and Box Tops for Education - ask family and friends to help as well.
