Okay to be Different

“The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.” 1 Corinthian 15:41

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the Agape Angels to recognize it is okay to be different, to love and accept themselves without having to compare themselves to others, and know their splendor is a gift from God.

~ For healing for all staff members, and especially our House Mom, Becky.

~ For continued recovery and for the endurance and patience to run the race each and every day.

~ For continued strength, wisdom and discernment for our Resident Assistant, Stacey, as she steps up to the plate while Becky is recuperating.

~ For Ava’s comfort and peace as she mourns the loss of her dear husband. “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

~ For the gift of heaven and the joy in knowing that there is no more pain and suffering.

~ For communication and the gift of expressing ourselves orally in the written word, through song and especially through the loving acts of hugs, smiles and reassurance.

Praise Reports:
~ For the warmer temperatures and sunshine we have enjoyed this week.

~ For the sponsoring of an overnight trip to Chicago for the Agape Angels. This should be a well-rounded, cultural experience, as they will be touring the Chicago Architectural Foundation and the Chicago Cultural Center.

~ For a faithful staff of loving, caring, committed people.

~ For safe travel to our events.

~ For Anna’s presentation on the systems of our bodies and the amazing creation we are in Him.

~ For the chapel speakers and their phenomenal stories of who they are in Christ. Their message is right on His time.

~ For our new Agape Angel, Kayla. For an incredible week of learning and growing at our school and home. Thanks be to God for the privilege of teaching this precious child of the King.
