Children of God

REMINDER: PLEASE COME SEE WHAT GOD HAS BEEN DOING AT AGAPE HOUSE ON SUNDAY FROM 1 TO 5 PM FOR OUR OPEN HOUSE; AT 3 PM THE GIRLS WILL BE SINGING AND GIVING TESTIMONIES FOR A PROGRAM IN THE GYM; REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED!

Lunch Helpers Needed – We are in need of someone to prepare lunch for us on the following dates: 3/29; 3/31; and 4/5 – if you can help one of these dates, please contact Liz at 262-394-5043 or lizp@agapehouseforgirls.org. Thank you

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for our Agape Angels to know the glory of becoming children of God.

~ For the renewed health of our House Mom, Becky.

~ For the renewed health of all of our volunteer staff and our Agape Angels; so many of the girls are fighting colds and viruses - we pray for healing.

~ For continued safe travel on all of our events.

~ For eyes to be opened for the incredible gifts each child has been given, and that each girl may realize her gifts and begin to use them.

~ For hearts to be mended in Him.

~ For family relationships to be healed.

~ For healthy choices to be made in spiritual, physical, academic and social realms.

~ For a wonderful turnout to our Open House.


Praise Reports:
~ For the gift of love. For the healthy, whole, perfect love we receive in Christ.

~ For the girls to strengthen their faith and be drawn to His Word for all things including comfort, peace and joy.

~ For relationships to be strengthened and for the sense of belonging and confidence that comes from belonging.

~ For the many donations of food and meals in the past week or so since our House Mom has been under the weather – God is so good!


Available for Babysitting – One of our older girls is available for babysitting in the Walworth area after school hours and weekends. Experience includes 2-month old babies up to 13 or 14 years old. Please contact Sarah directly at 262-394-5239.

Ways to Help at this time:
~ Volunteers to make and serve lunch on 1st Tuesday and 4th Tuesday of each month (we can supply the food if necessary).

~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.

~ Sponsor a girl here; we have several girls that come from single parent families that have no money.
~ Someone to paint the trim on the top layer of the church building, which is very high.
~ Bible Study materials (contact Pam Patterson for details)
~ Provide finances to expand our counseling program. Our goal for 2011 is to open a Christian Biblical-based counseling center that operates on a sliding fee so no one is turned away because of finances. We are looking at renting some space close by so we can have more offices and praying for the funding for the rent and to pay the counselor’s

Bring in your Campbell’s labels and Box Tops for Education - ask family and friends to help as well.
