All Things Work Together

Please consider becoming a friend of Agape House on Facebook, as the girls make entries each week about their Friday events. It is interesting to see how they are growing in faith!

“We are assured and know that all things work together and are for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose.” Romans 8:28

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the girls to know that all things work together for good!

~ Pray for the house parents and resident assistant to have patience as the girls begin to find their way in this new world they are learning about at Agape.

~ Pray for unity among the girls in the Home, and trusting relationships to be built.

~ Pray for the continued progress with the renovation of the living quarters as we get closer to the goal, and that the necessary financing comes in to complete the project before Christmas!

~ Pray for healing for staff and volunteers, as well as wisdom and discernment each and every day to know God’s desire.

Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for the privilege of working with amazing women of faith each day, and for their commitment, faithfulness and love for their Lord.
~ For the treasure of spending time in God’s word and prayer for strengthening our faith, and knowing that our help comes from the Lord.
~ For the daily encouragement of the staff and girls to go before the throne of our Savior and pray for one another.
~ For GracePointe in Naperville and all of their prayers for our staff.
~ For the opportunity to speak to the girls, especially those that are at the point of wanting to listen and have the courage to make the necessary changes in their lives. Also, for the girls who are seeing the work that the Lord is doing in their lives by going to Him, repeatedly with their hurts. He knows our heart's desire.
~ For the incredible opportunity to experience the climbing wall and the swing at Lake Geneva Youth Camp; and for Stacy and Megan giving of their time to help us with this adventure.
~ For the trust issues that were conquered by trusting on the climbing wall and swing.
~ For Stacy's example that love is a verb.
~ For rules being followed and the blessings that flow from obedience.
~ For all of our chapel speakers who come from far and near. Last week we were blessed by a beautiful (and timely) message from Thema from Faith Builders Church in Beloit. We are built up by your testimonies to His work in your life.
~ For the donations of sweet corn, bread, snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables, including lots of squash!
