GIVE THEM HOPE 2014!

Dear Friends:

As Winter continues to show itself, day in and day out, I pray that you are turning to God for your strength to endure this record-breaking weather, with the hope that He continues to offer us for a better tomorrow, and that Spring will show itself soon!

This is the same thought process we teach out girls as they go through the healing process from the pain they have endured in their lives, to turn to God for His strength, with hope of being renewed in His ways.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles . . . “ ~ Isaiah 40:31

Blessings . . .

Jan

Praise Reports:
~ PRAISE GOD; one of our Agape Angels accepted Jesus into her heart this past week!!!

~ The girls came back to school this week with positive things to say about their family visits; the steadfastness, prayer and patience is coming to fruition!

~ We are so grateful to each and every one of you who provide meals for Agape House. Mid-day, after a morning of working hard, and in preparation for the afternoon ahead, the lunch meal is extremely important. We are blessed with so many people who provide and serve a nutritious and filling meal for 15 to 20 people Monday through Thursday. In addition to the students and staff, we have the young ladies from the Transitional Living Home who come over for lunch as well . . . thank you for the love that goes into each meal!

~ For all of the other miscellaneous donations that come in to Agape House, i.e., parts for a dysfunctional water heater, cookies, bread, clothing, food from our wish list . . . it is so amazing to watch God use each of you as His hands and feet to meet the needs of this ministry.

~ For those who are mentors to our girls, whether it be a one-on-one get together, or as a group doing an activity with the girls; God is good!

~ For those who share testimonies with the girls in our bi-weekly chapel times on Friday.

“O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” ~ Psalm 34:8
