Position Open:  House Parents for Teen Home beginning August 2012. This is a live-in position for a couple (or possibly a single woman), minimally 30-years old, with a missionary heart to reach lost and hurting teenage girls for Christ. Dwell in the Shelter 
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” ~ Psalm 91:1

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray for the girls to know the joy of dwelling in the shelter of the Most High!

~ Pray for the finances.

~ Pray for new house parents.

~ Pray for the girls attending Summer School to enjoy their connection to Agape School before July and August come when they will not be here.

~ Pray for the girls who are not connected to Agape House at this time in the Summer, that they will ‘rest in the shadow of the Almighty’.

~ Pray for God to bring the girls and their families to Agape that He desires to be in our program in the Fall.


Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for His availability to us each and every day, in whatever way we need Him!

~ Praise God for the DVD player that was donated to meet the need on our wish list!

~ Praise God for the used car in good condition that was donated!

~ Praise God for the girls and their families who continue to work through issues with the counselors this Summer, with the goal of reuniting their families as God intends.

~ Praise God for the volunteers who are here today as part of the ‘Day of Action’ sponsored by Volunteer Connection, who teamed up with Walworth County and United Way to offer their services to various service organizations throughout Walworth County. We have a group of 8 people here doing some deep cleaning in the dorms – what a blessing!


Items Needed:
Snacks, i.e., string cheese, almonds, peanuts, dried fruit, granola bars, crackers, crackers, cheese sticks, pretzels, raw vegetables and dip.
Fresh fruits and vegetables for Teen Home and Transitional Living Home


Wish List:
~ Vacuum Cleaner for Transitional Living Home (TLH)
~ Queen-size mattress and box spring for Staff Apartment at TLH
~ Used cars in good condition (cheap) for girls in  our program
~ Art Therapy Supplies: Tracing paper, sketch paper, thick paper for oils/water colors, canvas – med/large, chalk, and pencils for shading (dark and light)
~ Badminton set
~ Footballs (nerf and regular)


Ways to help in the ministry of Agape House:
~ Volunteer graphic designer to assist with promoting Agape House.
~ Volunteer to clean out the chimney in the fireplace at the counseling center.
~ Provide financial support to help with tuition assistance for a girl here; we have many girls whose families are only able to pay a fraction of the cost of the services we provide for them.
~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.
~ Bring in your Campbell’s labels and Box Tops for Education - ask family and friends to collect them as well.
~Save Sentry Receipts from Sentry in Walworth and turn them in to us – we receive a 1% donation of the subtotal of all purchases from this store through their ‘Funds for Friends’ program. Note: receipts cannot be older than 4 months. Thanks for your help!
