Let’s Just Praise the Lord!

 “I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.  I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”  Psalm 9:1-2

 

Prayer Requests:

~Pray that each girl will learn to praise the Lord in all things.

~for the girls to continue to focus on what they need to accomplish yet for this school year, and not be distracted by the nicer weather.

~for our girls who are approaching the end of their time at Agape House, that they do not become fearful of their future and back off on accomplishing their goals her. It is not unusual for our girls to fear leaving the comfortable atmosphere here.

~For the staff to be strengthened for the remaining 5 weeks of school

~for healing for all the girls, staff and volunteers; physically as well as spiritually.

~for wisdom and discernment for the staff as we do our best to guide each student.

~for the parents of our girls to have wisdom and discernment about home visits, summer school, and summer activities.

Praise Reports:

~Praise God for all of His wonders; we see many wonders here at Agape in how He provides healing and meets all of our needs.

~for all those who support Agape House in one of so many ways: board members, service providers who go above and beyond, volunteer tutors, mentors, teachers of extra-curricular programs, prayer warriors, material needs and financial needs!

Art Therapy Supplies: Tracing paper, sketch paper, thick paper for oils/water colors, canvas – med/large, chalk, and pencils for shading (dark and light)

Ball cart/rack (for in the gym)
Badminton set
Footballs (nerf and regular)
Balls for foosball table

Ways to help in the ministry of Agape House:

~Volunteer landscape designer for our gardens.
~Volunteer graphic designer to assist with promoting Agape House.
~ Volunteer to clean out the chimney in the fireplace at the counseling center.
~ Provide financial support to help with tuition assistance for a girl here; we have many girls whose families are only able to pay a fraction of the cost of the services we provide for them.
~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.
~Bring in your Campbell’s labels and Box Tops for Education - ask family and friends to collect them as well.

All Friends and supporters of Agape House are welcome to attend our Recognition/Graduation Ceremony on the 24^th of May at 6:30 p.m. in the school gym, no RSVP needed.
