LOVE

SATURDAY WORK DAYS: The next two Saturdays, February 18 and 25 (9a.m. – 4p.m.) we will be working on the new building at 230 S. Main St. which is right across the street from Agape House.

PAINTERS NEEDED: There is a still lot of painting to be completed. This can be done on Saturdays or any time. Just call and let us know so we can be sure to unlock the doors. Painting supplies are all provided.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Prayer Requests:

~To our Prayer Warriors: Please pray for the financial needs to be met for the completion of the renovation of our new building so that we can open the Counseling Center and the Transition Home, as we already have girls on a waiting list! We are praying for $10,000 for these costs (the building has 3 separate units which will provide space for our counselors as well as a Transitional Living Home for girls 18-28 to have a safe home while they receive biblical counseling, bible studies and learn independent living skills through work and education. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support. Peace and Blessings . . .

~Pray that each of our Agape Angels “being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Eph.3:18, 19

~Please pray for God to provide volunteers to serve as mentors to the new girls. Our girls all need inner healing. According to author and Child Psychiatrist, Dr. Bruce D. Perry “Healing and recovery is impossible – even with the best medications and therapy in the world – without lasting, caring connections to others.”

Praise Reports:

~ For the beautiful letters the girls wrote to God on Valentine’s Day!

~For a generous donation for our rewards basket.

~That God provided a safe and educational trip to Chicago for the girls all provided by an Agape House supporter.

~For a generous donation of journals, calendars and photo scrapbooks.
