Sanctuary Renovation Complete!!!!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Psalm 118:1

Praise Reports:
~ Praise God – the Sanctuary renovation is completed!!! After 4-1/2 years, we are in awe of what God has accomplished. Watch for Pam Patterson’s article expanding upon this in the February Newsletter.

Please join us for a work day next Saturday between 9 and 4 to clean and organize everything! Also, if you would like to donate any items to complete the kitchen, please see the ‘Special Gift’ registry at Kohl’s.

~ For all the staff and volunteers at Agape and their faithfulness.

~ For prayers answered and the patience for God’s timing.

~ For all new students and the adjustment at Agape.

~ For the servant hearts of the girls as they enjoyed their time at Golden Years last Friday. What a blessing in our lives to serve.

Prayer Requests
~ For a girl who’s family is really trying to live in Christ and establish healthy boundaries; which is new for the whole family.

~ For another girl who is seeking to find her own identity, and that she would come to trust Christ in this process.

~ For patience in all situations.

~ For wisdom and discernment in daily interactions.

~ For social maturity and assistance in dealing with acceptance.

~ For truth to prevail.

~ For the confidence in knowing Christ has won the victory. Help us all to be drawn to His word and cling to it.

~ For safe travel as we are all out and about this weekend.

~ For continued growth and maturity, as well as accountability in our lives.

Love at all times

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the girls to know they are a new creation in Christ if they accept Him into their lives!

~ For continued healing in all of the girls at Agape. Hurts run deep and wounds are soothed and made whole with the balm of His Word. We pray that the girls will realize that they are loved. Know that His love for them is eternal, and that He understands all that they are going through and knows what is best for us at all times.

~ For continued leadership in several girls in the classroom setting. For the confidence
to speak the truth in love, without fear.

~ For headaches, colds and sickness to go away.

Praise Reports:
~ For the donation of some wonderful library books from Community Church in Elkhorn!

~ For a girl growing stronger in her walk with the Lord, and another who appears to be opening up to God!!!

~ For an incredible staff, volunteers and new volunteers. God's timing is perfect and He sends exactly who and what we need right on time!

~ For Jim, our math tutor and the relationships he's developing with the girls.

~ For the gift of laughter and the joy the staff experiences when the girls laugh and experience pleasure through humor.

~ For the accomplishments of the girls in their PACE work, counseling and dealing with difficult issues.

Love at all times

Prayer Requests
~ Pray that the girls come to love their friends always!

~ For ongoing strength, wisdom and discernment for staff.

~ For the completion of the renovation project and volunteers to step forward to help.

~ For new girls coming to Agape House, that their spirits are comforted for this change in their lives, and that their families are open to new ways of doing things in their lives.

~ For the girls at Agape to prepare their hearts for new students, to be open to loving unconditionally, encouraging like Barnabus, and to have servant hearts to ease the transition of a new, hurting child.

~ For good health for everyone at Agape.

~ For healing, emotionally, physically and spiritually to come with the balance of resting in Him.

~ For the staff’s spiritual growth on a continued basis, and that we grow in the grace and knowledge of Him, our Savior and redeemer.

~ For each precious Agape Angel as they work through their hurts and find Him through studying and pondering His Word.

~ For safe travel on all of our school field trips, servant events and fun days.

~ For wisdom and discernment, every step of the way, as this ministry grows.

Praise Reports:
~ For all who have diligently sent in Box Tops for Education; we recently received a check in the amount of $398.80!

~ For all of those who continue to provide support for this ministry, whether it be through financial giving, material donations, prayer support, or just lending an ear to listen when needed.

~ For the donation of hair care products from Clear Water Spa – the girls will enjoy this treat!

~ For the girls that have recognized that being healthier physically will make a difference in their overall lives.

~ For all of our faithful staff and volunteers who continue to work together for the greater good of this ministry!

~ For a phenomenal week; not only did the girls work hard on their academic studies, but they addressed issues in counseling, saw God at work in their own lives as well as the lives of their fellow classmates and volunteers!

~ For Judi’s successful eye surgery, and continued healing.

~ For all the blessings of Christmas, in the birth of our Savior, and the blessings we all received in time with our families, rest, rejuvenation and gifts – we are so grateful.

~ For His faithfulness and His promises.

I am Doing a New Thing

~ Pray that the girls recognize they can experience the abundant life that Jesus says we can have, but that it requires them to make a decision to let go of the past and trust God.
