Take Captive Every Thought

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” II Corinthians 10:4-5

Prayer Requests
~ For the girls to learn that strongholds can be demolished, and that we can take captive every thought, making them obedient to Christ.

~ For spiritual, physical and emotional healing for staff and volunteers, and their families.

~ For Dan Johnson, and his sacrifice as a serviceman. He gave his life in service to this great nation and we thank God for his bravery and courage. Dan is a relative of one of our faithful volunteers at Agape School.

~ For all of our servicemen and women. As we reflect on our freedoms this Veteran's Day week, we know that freedom isn't free, and we pray for all family members who are serving and for their sacrifice. We pray for the family at home and that they are encouraged and assisted in many ways to take care of their families while their loved one serves.

~ For several girls as they come to the homestretch of their education at Agape School. We ask that God would give them determination and perseverance to finish their goals and graduate.

~ For healing of student’s knee, and that the impending surgery will go well.

Praise Reports:
~ For the blessing that the girls were at Inspiration Ministries last Friday as they worked with the residents to pack gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We are also very grateful to Annette Wynn for organizing this event, and for the blessing that she is in sharing the message of salvation with everyone! (See picture above)

~ For our new students, Brianna and Beth. We praise God that they have joined Agape School and are doing well. The adjustment period has been relatively painless and they are meeting above and beyond our expectations. Welcome to the family, precious cherubs.

~ For our second graduate, Morgan Burger, on the completion of her high school requirements for graduation! We praise God for His faithfulness and for the joy of experiencing this blessing. Morgan will be missed at Agape School, but God has plans for her. Morgan will be attending YWAM in Quebec, Canada in January. We will pray for her as we do all of our 'former students. To God be the Glory!!!!!

~ For our new music teacher, Diane Lewis. We are so grateful that she is willing to take the time to teach our girls music in a new and creative way, and we look forward to all that God has in store for their progress. The music we heard Monday was heaven-sent.

~ For former students who take the time to come back and visit; God is so good. We especially enjoy catching up and receiving the hugs.

~ For the continuation of the work in the Sanctuary, with a goal of completing the renovation by Christmas!
