Be Kind and Compassionate

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

Prayer Requests:

~ Pray that the girls learn to be kind, compassionate and forgiving, to others and themselves, and then that they will practice what they have learned.
~ Pray for everyone to have self-control in the rising temperatures.
~ Please pray for continued perseverance to finish the year strong in academic studies.
~ Please continue to pray for the financial aspect at Agape; we are so grateful to everyone who is helping out in any way possible; pray that our plea letter going out in the mail will be received and responded to positively, as our finances are in desperate need of replenishment.
~ Pray for the girls to realize the importance of preparation and planning.
~ Pray for the girls to realize how important and priceless each Agape Angel is in Christ, and that all of us were created in His image with a purpose and plan for our lives.
~ Pray for the girls to be encouraged in their struggles to never give up, and to combat faulty thinking with God’s word and His promises.
~ Pray for the world with its lies and brokenness to be revealed to the girls and to let them see the hope, promise and healing in Christ, and the freedom that accompanies this revelation.
~ Pray for interpersonal relationships.
~ Pray for students to realize the importance of their healing and education.
~ Pray for students to never give up!
~ Pray for students to put their hope in the Lord.

Praise Reports:

~ Praise God for all the food collected through a food drive, and donated by Christian Life Church this past weekend – God is so good!
~ Praise God for safe travel to the Milwaukee Women’s Correctional Institution last Friday for our educational field trip. We had an informative tour and heard three inmates describe why they were incarcerated. The women spoke of poor choices and answered questions from the Agape students. The girls were receptive to the women, were observant on the tour, and were respectful to the guards and staff. Our chaperones were awesome, and we thank God for the opportunity to see first hand what happens when poor choices are given consequences. We were also blessed with a lovely meal at the prison, and were able to speak with the administrator, Dr. McRae, about our program at Agape. He was impressed with our students, and joined us for lunch.
