"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, . . . He sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners . . . " ~ Isaiah 61:1

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]." ~ John 16:33 Amplified Version

Please Pray:
~ For our Agape Angels to know the peace of God’s Presence in their lives; and to hide in that secret place of His Presence as they go forth knowing God is walking alongside them always as their ‘burden bearer’ who has already conquered the world for them.

~ For continued healing for some of the staff, volunteers and their families who are dealing with health issues.

~ For the girls to continue to stay healthy; they are practicing all the right things to promote good health!

~ For our current RA as she finishes up her last couple of weeks at Agape, to know that God has a greater purpose and plan that He is preparing her for, and for her to continue to trust in His ways!

~ For our new RA as she prepares to begin this new position in the next couple of weeks, that God will prepare her heart and spirit for the task at hand as she willingly steps out trusting Him that this is His purpose and plan for her at this season of her life!

Praise God:
~ For the donation of milk from the closing of the Golden Guernsey plant; thank you to those of you who helped coordinate delivery to Agape House!

~ For the progress the girls are making as they accept the truth about how much God truly loves them; what a blessing to watch them make baby steps in their walk with the Lord!

~ For the joy of one of our young women in the TLH who is the recipient of one of the cars donated to Agape House last year; she is so very grateful to all the help and support she is receiving as she learns how to trust God at a deeper level then ever before and transition into living out the purpose and plan that God has for her!

~ For Pam and Ben Patterson and their willingness to step out and say ‘yes’ when God called them to begin this ministry 15 years ago! They didn’t ask for a detailed report of all that would be involved; rather, they willingly moved forward trusting Him to lead them and guide them every step of the way. And they continue to show so many others how to do the same!

~ For new RA that was hired this past week for the Teen Home!

~ For our part-time RA and the fact that she absolutely loves her time at Agape with the girls!

“How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men! In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots of men; You keep them secretly in Your pavilion from the strife of tongues.” ~ Psalm 31:19-20

He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs." ~ Zephaniah 3:17b

Please Pray:
~ For our Agape Angels to know the depth of the love their Abba Father has for them; how much He is filled with joy over each and every one of them; and that He has provided a safe and loving place in His heart for them, as He waits with open arms for them to fully accept Him into their lives.
~ For healing for some of the staff and their families who are dealing with health issues.
~ For the girls to continue to stay healthy!
~ For us to select the right person for the RA position, who will come alongside of these girls like a big sister, loving them right where they are at, while guiding them to His grace and love.

Praise God:
~ For one of our students, Courtney, who completed her final test today for high school!
~ For each and every one of you who continue to support this ministry in so many ways. As we approach the end of 1st semester, I would like to highlight for you the many ways volunteers have helped with the education process here:
-  Tutors, most of whom are teachers, to come alongside the girls and encourage them in the PACE work, with some who specialize in math, science and English.  One of the tutors even does science experiments with the girls every Friday! Another one is teaching them to write stories. And another is teaching them to prepare resumes on the computers. We also have a home ec teacher who has been teaching them sewing skills, and another volunteer who teaches them about drug and alcohol issues. We also have a skilled teacher working with the girls in choir (watch for details of a performance coming up in April or May). I could go on and on, but I think you can see my point – God continues to use so many of you to bless these girls through this ministry, and we are so grateful.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”  Psalm 118:1

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have ovecome the world." ~ John 16:33

Praise God for:
~ Another one of the girls has accepted Christ into her heart!!!

~ Another one of our girls who had a necessary surgery last week, and has returned to school this week feeling good and focused!

~ The girls are desiring to take better care of themselves. While this is quite common at the beginning of a new year due to resolutions people make, it is even more significant when the girls reach this point at Agape House. It means they are starting to value themselves enough to see that they can do things differently in their lives today to impact their future.

~ Art supplies donated and/or purchased on sale; the girls are really enjoying their art class and making wonderful projects that allow them to express their inner feelings!

~ Answered prayers from staff.

~ Donation of a working dishwasher for the TLH!

Pray for:
~ Staff to continue to hear God’s wisdom and discernment as the girls recognize they have a voice that can be heard and start to question what they are learning.

~ The girls to know the joy of the great plans that God has for them.

~ For those girls who are close to finishing up their high school credits, that they not get discouraged; rather, continue to trust God to help them reach their goals in His timing.
