His Love Endures Forever





Walworth State Bank (105 State Road 67, Walworth) is having a FREE Shred Fest on Saturday, May 5th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  However, they are accepting donations for Agape House.  We appreciate their support of this ministry.

Prayer Requests:

~Pray that the Lord will cause each of the girls to give a sacrifice of praise, worship and honor for what He has done in their lives and pray that they will proclaim the victory that has already been given to them.

 

~Pray that each girl would cry out to the Lord in any trouble; that the Lord would save them from their distress, send forth his word and heal them.



~for the girls to continue to focus on what they need to accomplish yet for this school year, and not be distracted by the nicer weather.



~for our girls who are approaching the end of their time at Agape House, that they do not become fearful of their future and back off on accomplishing their goals here. It is not unusual for our girls to fear leaving the comfortable atmosphere here.



~for wisdom and discernment for the staff as we do our best to guide each student.



~for the parents of our girls to have wisdom and discernment about home visits, summer school, and summer activities.




Praise Reports:



~Praise the Lord for His unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for all.



~Praise Him for how He brings us out of the darkness into the light.

~ Provide financial support to help with tuition assistance for a girl here; we have many girls whose families are only able to pay a fraction of the cost of the services we provide for them.
~ Volunteer to repair stained glass.
~Bring in your Campbell’s labels and Box Tops for Education - ask family and friends to collect them as well.

~Sentry Receipts/Funds for Friends – We are now set up with Sentry in Walworth to receive a 1% donation of the subtotal of all purchases from this store through their ‘Funds for Friends’ program.  So please start saving up your receipts and turning them in at the school reception desk.  Note: receipts cannot be older than 4 months.  Thanks for your help!

Let’s Just Praise the Lord!

 “I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.  I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”  Psalm 9:1-2
 

Prayer Requests:

~Pray that each girl will learn to praise the Lord in all things.

~for the girls to continue to focus on what they need to accomplish yet for this school year, and not be distracted by the nicer weather.

God is Our Shield

“Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Proverbs 30:5

Prayer Requests:
~Pray that each girl, staff member and volunteer at Agape will stand firm in the Word of God which has been tried and tested.
~Pray for each of the girls to grow closer to God and to seek His will for their lives (summer jobs, good choices, future plans).
~Pray for physical healing for health issues for one of the girls as well as for family members who need God’s healing touch.
~Pray for relational healing between the girls and their families.
~Pray that each girl will recognize God as the one who can and will answer their cry in prayer; pray that they will take refuge in Him and allow Him to shield them from the enemy.

~Praise God that He shields us against harm when we take refuge in Him.
~Praise God for the donation of a used mini-van.

He Is Risen

“Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” Matthew 28:5b – 6a NIV

Prayer Requests:

- For a healing miracle for a special Mom in need!
- For a blessed Easter weekend for our girls and their families, as well as staff, and that everyone will enjoy their 4-day weekend.
- For the girls to continue to draw closer to God, to know what His plans are for each of them, and for them to desire to strive to see those plans through.
- For our girls who could graduate at the end of May, that they not get caught up in the fear of what happens when they leave Agape; rather, keep their focus on God and keep moving forward!
- For continued progress for one of our students trying a new method of learning, and for continued encouragement from those who love and care for her.
- For the young ladies in the community who purchased dresses at the sale last weekend, that they truly feel like a ‘Princess of the King’ when they wear their new dresses.

Praise Reports:
- Praise God for the success of the Princess Dress Sale last weekend. With the assistance of everyone who spread the word about this event, about 100 dresses found new homes!
- Praise God for the successful Open House of the TLH and Counseling Center, and the joy of hearing our Agape School Choir sing at the ribbon cutting ceremony!
- Praise God for the donation of handmade quilts for the girls at Agape.
