Sweet Words – Like Honey

“How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.” Psalm 119:103-104

Prayer Requests
~ For the girls to gain understanding of His Word, and to truly understand how sweet it is!

~ For God to continue to reveal Himself to the girls through His word and through the love of His people.

~ For new girls coming to Agape; that their hearts be touched by the love that will surround them, and that they feel His love and comfort here as the staff and students welcome them with open arms.

~ That the girls are seeking Him daily, and trust Him for their healing.

~ For the parents of our Agape Angels to continue to seek healing, and that they are able to benefit from the Parents Group and individual counseling offered through this ministry.

~ For the completion of the renovation of the Sanctuary so that we can be using it fully by Christmas.

~ For God to fill the staffing needs at Agape.

~ For a hedge of protection from all the attacks as students draw closer to their Lord. Continue to instill in them a desire to trust amidst the chaos and constant decisions in this world.

~ For continued friend building and for the wisdom to know what a true friend exhibits. “A friend loves at all times.” Proverbs 17:17a

~ For continued healing of staff and family members.

~ For the safe return of staff members from trips and the renewed spirits from rest.

~ For servant hearts, minds, hands and feet.

Praise Reports:
~ For the blessing of having Agape Home and School, and the blessing it is to so many people.

~ For the continued renovation work, and the support we have received to move forward, and the hope that it will be completed by Christmas!

~ For each one of the girls and their families as some of them enjoy a three-day weekend together.

~ For God to work the impossible in our lives and the trust and praise that come from going to Him with our heart’s desire.

~ For students making it a priority to be on time and using their time wisely.

~ For an increase in homework done by the students and the accountability for their education.

~ For the maturity observed in many students.

~ For the unity of staff in directing the girls to Him.

~ For the willingness of students to help others by working at their homes.

~ For the employment of one of our students.

New Creations



“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the girls to understand what it means to be a new creation in Christ, as our newer girls study Grace Walk, and as the girls who have been here longer continue to set an example of what they have learned.

~ Pray for continued healing of the pain caused by sin and the consequences of that sin.

~ Pray that the girls continue seeking Him; we find our healing in Him.

~ Pray for the parents of our Agape Angels to continue to seek healing, and that they are able to benefit from the Parents Group and individual counseling offered through this ministry.

~ Pray for the completion of the renovation of the Sanctuary so that we can be using it fully by Christmas.

~ Pray for blessings to continue to pour forth for all who support this ministry in any way at all, whether it be a gift of their time, prayer, meals, cleaning, financial resources, etc.; it is all a blessing!

~ Pray for healing of those who support this ministry.

~ Pray for God to fill the staffing needs at Agape.


Praise Reports:
~ For the work the girls were able to do last Friday at the home of a dear friend of the ministry. The girls were able to share in the tasks while working together and cooperating; they completed a tremendous amount of outside work for a family (see picture above).

~ For an Agape Angel asking for a concordance for a Christmas present, as the desire of her heart is to get to know Him more intimately, while gaining more understanding about the meaning of the original text before translations of the Bible.

~ For an awakening among a few students in the understanding of what they are responsible for , and for the vicious cycle of the ‘blame game’ to end!

~ For a respite from the physical pain for the staff. Continued prayers of healing for all those suffering physical, emotional and spiritual wounds. “By His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

~ For several girls opening their Bibles and reading on their “own” time.

~ For the gift of laughter; hearing the girls giggle is a balm to our ears.

~ For the progress that has been made this past week with the renovation of the loft in the Sanctuary; it is almost ready to be used!

~ For the joy of the Fall colors we have had the past few weeks while we prepare for a new season!

The Power of Prayer

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the girls to see the answers to their prayers from our beloved Abba!

~ Pray for the families of these girls, for the ultimate goal of having relationships and families restored.

~ Pray for unity among the girls in the Home, and trusting relationships to be built.

~ Pray for the continued progress with the renovation of the living quarters as we get closer to the goal, and that the necessary financing comes in to complete the project before Christmas!

~ Pray for healing for staff and volunteers, as well as wisdom and discernment each and every day to know God’s desire.


Praise Reports:
~ For eyes to see the answer to so many prayers.

~ For the parents who are taking part in the Parent Group weekly, and seeing the benefit!

~ For the blessing for the girls to tour Old World Wisconsin last Friday, and they waived the entrance fee for us.

~ For the donations of almonds, milk, cereal, fruit, desserts and healthy snacks.

~ For our chapel speaker today who addressed issues with the girls that only God could have put on her heart!

~ For all who support this ministry in one way or another; God has truly blessed us with so many faithful, loving people to meet the needs of these girls!

All Things Work Together

Prayer Requests
~ Pray for the girls to know that all things work together for good!

~ Pray for the house parents and resident assistant to have patience as the girls begin to find their way in this new world they are learning about at Agape.

~ Pray for unity among the girls in the Home, and trusting relationships to be built.

~ Pray for the continued progress with the renovation of the living quarters as we get closer to the goal, and that the necessary financing comes in to complete the project before Christmas!

~ Pray for healing for staff and volunteers, as well as wisdom and discernment each and every day to know God’s desire.


Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for the privilege of working with amazing women of faith each day, and for their commitment, faithfulness and love for their Lord.
~ For the treasure of spending time in God’s word and prayer for strengthening our faith, and knowing that our help comes from the Lord.
~ For the daily encouragement of the staff and girls to go before the throne of our Savior and pray for one another.
~ For GracePointe in Naperville and all of their prayers for our staff.
~ For the opportunity to speak to the girls, especially those that are at the point of wanting to listen and have the courage to make the necessary changes in their lives. Also, for the girls who are seeing the work that the Lord is doing in their lives by going to Him, repeatedly with their hurts. He knows our heart's desire.
~ For the incredible opportunity to experience the climbing wall and the swing at Lake Geneva Youth Camp; and for Stacy and Megan giving of their time to help us with this adventure.
~ For the trust issues that were conquered by trusting on the climbing wall and swing.
~ For Stacy's example that love is a verb.
~ For rules being followed and the blessings that flow from obedience.
~ For all of our chapel speakers who come from far and near. Last week we were blessed by a beautiful (and timely) message from Thema from Faith Builders Church in Beloit. We are built up by your testimonies to His work in your life.
