God's Great Peace

“Great peace have they who love Your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

Prayer Requests:
~ Pray that all the girls know God’s great peace that is available to them!

~ Pray for one of our former students as her family goes through some legal issues over the next few weeks; pray for God’s will to be done.

~ Pray that God brings us a Resident Assistant so that we can accept new students into the Home.

~ Pray for all staff and volunteers to return to school next Wednesday refreshed and healthy (or at least healing)!

~ Pray for the staff to remember all of the new policies and procedures we’ve put into place over the last couple of weeks!

~ Pray for the upcoming Trifecta Golf Challenge as follows:

• Golfers to attend and a beautiful days' weather for the event
• Pray for the dinner, as well as the silent and live auctions to be well-attended and successful
• Pray for the families that are ministered to by these 3 organizations: Agape House and School; Atlas; and Army of One.

Praise Reports:
~ Praise God for the donation made to have our carpets cleaned in the school and home by Gary Schroeder of Master’s Cleaning Specialists in Elkhorn. It is such a good feeling to have this done as we begin a new year, especially in the rooms in the dorm!

~ Praise God for the donations made to Agape House and School by Rebekah's House in Woodstock, IL. Do I hear a request for pizza?


Ways to Help at this time:
~ Tutor on Wednesdays or Thursdays
~ Teach music once a week
~ Provide a meal in the Home or School once a month

Renovation Work
~ Refinishing of the stairs up to the Sanctuary (living quarters)
~ Help install tile on kitchen floor (also need funding to purchase tile)
~ Rebuild outside stairs to Sanctuary (also need materials purchased)
~ Offer to help with clean up from the renovation work

Renovation Donations Needed
~ Commercial Appliances for the kitchen: range; dishwasher; and refrigerator
~ Kitchen Countertop

~ Save your Campbell’s labels and/or Box Tops for Education, and drop them off at Agape so we can redeem them for items for the school or home.

~ 4-drawer file cabinet 15” wide by 25 to 29” deep

God is With Us



“The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17


Prayer Requests:
~ Pray that all the girls know God is with us and how much He delights in us!

~ Pray for one of our former students who needs to make adult choices, even though she is still a child; pray for an army of angels to guide and protect her.

~ Pray that God brings us a Resident Assistant so that we can accept new students into the Home.

~ Pray for this last week or so of planning and preparation to go smoothly for the staff; and that God will bring us all the volunteers we need in His timing, while we ‘be still’.

~ Pray for God to bring the young girls He knows will benefit from Agape School and Home; and that the girls who are returning from last year have a peace and excitement about coming back to school.

~ Pray for the upcoming Trifecta Golf Challenge as follows:
